I have received two new certifications that I felt worth noting. The first, Apple Certified Associate, shows that I have an understanding of integrating Macs into a Windows environment. Since I support a team of Macs at Ball Corporation where I'm the sole technician responsible for keeping the Macs playing nicely with the Windows servers this certification felt a bit superfluous, but there it is nonetheless.
The second is that I'm now a Certified Wireless Technology Specialist through the Association of Certified Wireless Network Professionals (CWNP). Since I'm doing an ever-increasing amount of network work, this allows my clients (hopefully that's you!) to feel confident that I know what I'm doing.
And of course, Apple also requires their consultants to re-certify periodically to prove that they're current on the ins and outs of the Mac operating system.
